Michael Novotny, brings a wealth of experience to the local markets both in management and sales, earning him a reputation as one of the most prominent and respected professionals in Southern California. He has been involved in the sale and negotiations of over $4 billion in volume and hundreds of transactions. Michael was instrumental in the firms he was associated with, creating international marketing programs for the luxury markets in Southern California. He has taught many agents how to market and sell through the use of technology, social media, and print advertising in the international marketplace and he brings that same experience to his current clients. Michael’s direct involvement in the strategic and operational functions for his region gives him unique insight into the markets he operates in. Michael graduated cum laude from Pepperdine University, Malibu, with a degree in business and management. He was the President and Managing Partner for his own firm for many years when his firm was acquired by Sotheby’s International Realty, where he assumed the role of Vice President and brokerage manager. Michael was a former Malibu Association of Realtor President and was recognized as the Realtor® of the Year of his association. Known for his commitment to his community, as well as his professionalism, he served as public works commissioner for the City of Malibu and was director and President of the Point Dume Community Association for many years. He was recognized with the MAR Community Service Award. Michael is dedicated to helping others realize their full potential as individuals and as real estate professionals.
