A native New Yorker raised by artist parents in the Midwest with a touch of Italy, I made my way to Los Angeles in 2008 where I built a successful 15+ year career as a sound effects mixer & editor, garnering 3 Emmy nominations. I’ve been fortunate to work on some of the most iconic movies and TV shows with incredible world-class collaborators. These experiences led me to exploring and living in many neighborhoods in Los Angeles, ultimately falling in love with the unique real estate and iconic architecture permeating the city.
Prior to working in entertainment, I worked as an engineer at an architecture firm where I fostered a deep understanding of the master architects from Neutra and Schindler to Koenig and Genser. Notably, I had the privilege of working with Dion Neutra as an engineer on the last Neutra house ever to be built in Roatan, Honduras.
I took the natural leap and made my first venture into real estate in 2016 buying and rehabbing an original 1951 midcentury modern ranch in the Valley. This experience was emotional and exciting, but worth it in the end! In 2020, I purchased a 101 year old bungalow in Elysian Heights, breathing new life into this house with a complete gut remodel and restoration. Through these projects as an owner/builder general contractor, I gained invaluable insight into financing options, the permitting and inspection processes, and built a vast network of reliable subcontractors
